We were lucky enough to spend some time this weekend at Maxfund to meet some super cool dogs. Most of you are aware that both Meriah and I are completely obsessed with dogs and we want everyone else to be as well! Some people prefer to get their pups from breeders which is great- we would just like to encourage everyone who is looking for a new furry friend to consider a local animal shelter as well just like Maxfund.
At Maxfund, there are so many breads to chose from and all different ages! Big dogs, small dogs and of course cats. One thing we would like to bring awareness to is that there are also a lot of purebreds dogs at shelters. A lot of times it's of no fault of their own and purebred dogs end up at Maxfund at a really young age (1-2) because the owners didn't realize certain personality traits for example- high energy, not always good around kids, or needed a yard or more space. Every pup we met today was friendly, well behaved, and so eager to find their person to take them to their forever home.
While waiting for their forever homes, these pups spend their time at Maxfund- a no kill animal shelter. Maxfund is always looking for volunteers, supplies, and foster parents for dogs and cats in special need. We absolutely love all that Maxfund does for these pups, so that is why we frequently donate our time and some of GHC Studio's profits to Maxfund. If you are interested in volunteering some time and have love in your heart for one of these special dogs, we encourage you to reach out to them today!
